I am qualified as a domestic relations mediator. Sessions may be conducted in my office or virtually.
Mediation is a process to help people resolve disputes and reduce their litigation costs. Some local courts require persons to complete a two-hour mediation session before a family lawsuit may proceed to trial.
The mediator is neutral. The mediator cannot represent either party in the lawsuit. The mediator cannot provide legal advice. The mediator may provide a written summary of the subjects discussed, but will not prepare legal documents for the court proceeding.
Parties who represent themselves, “pro se” must complete the necessary documents for their case (Court Forms) and jurisdiction (About the Courts) before the session is scheduled.
